Washoe County Health Department hired Breakthrough Training to provide workforce development to over 150 employees on how to be a better leader both at work and home. During the program participants discussed and practiced ways to improve communication skills with co-workers and the community that they serve. Understanding the 4 different communication styles and how to best relate to others was a major focus of the program. In-depth discussions among teams defined how to best collaborate with people who have different perspective. And, discussions defined best practices to engage in a higher performance within a team environment. 

Washoe County Health Department is a proud economic driver in the region with over 2,700+ employees who serve the public on a daily basis.
